Otoplasty Surgery Video Presented by Seattle’s Otoplasty Specialist Dr Philip Young
This is a video that we created to show some before and afters and to discuss certain topics on otoplasty. Dr. Philip young is a published otoplasty revision author and you can find his chapter in the scientific plastic surgery textbook “Advanced cosmetic otoplasty”. This is published by Springer in 2013. The topics in this video including congenital microtia repair and he also the discussed the reconstruction of congenital defects. We also show before and afters of a keloid scar reconstruction and repair. Multiple before and afters of prominent large ears showing carefully Pinbacked ears are presented. The results show that they are neither overly corrected nor under corrected. We also show the correction and reconstruction of gauged earlobes. And we also discussed the correction and reconstruction of the Cup Lop ear deformity for a young Asian female.
