This was a question someone had regarding a Fat Transfer procedure they had done in the lips and whether massage would make the fat go away or lessen in the lips because she felt that there was too much put in the lips.
Massage is not likely to make a huge difference and at best it will make the swelling go down faster. Your upper lip should never be bigger let alone greater than 1/2 the size of your lower lip. My theory on aesthetics or facial beauty, Circles of Prominence, has discovered that your upper lip should be about 1/2 the size of your lower lip. Your swelling may go down quite a bit. Hopefully most of that will go away.
Give it some time and try not to worry too much about it. You can make the fat go away through microliposuction with the same cannulas that you put them in with. Sometimes you can also excise the extra fat out and different types of excisions can be done to make the lip look better and smaller. The swelling will likely go down quite a bit though. It can be done though!
I refined an amazing volumizing procedure called “the YoungLift”. This is an innovative technique that volumizes your face to bring out the younger and natural you without looking like you had something done. This is not a facelift and requires no incisions. Only pinpoint puncture sites are used and these heal imperceptibly. The YoungLift can be done without general anesthesia and without drains, and large bandages. You also have a lot less downtime and discomfort compared with traditional facelift procedures. Dr Young employs the very best techniques from around the world into one volumizing procedure and he uses his internationally acclaimed understanding of facial beauty to create the youthful volume you once had.
